About Pente
A connect 5 board game. The players alternate in placing stones of their color. The players aim to align five stones of the same color (vertical, horizontal or diagonal). Captures are obtained by flanking pairs of an opponent's stones in any same direction (captures must consist of pairs; flanking a single stone does not result in a capture). A player wins by scoring five stones in a row, or capturing five pairs of opponent stones.
How to Play
Place your stone on any empty intersection of the board to begin the game. Alternate turns with your opponent, each placing one stone per turn. Strive to line up five of your stones in a row horizontally to win. Remove your opponent's stones by surrounding two of their stones with yours on either side. Keep in mind that only pairs of stones can be captured; single stones are not valid. Triumph by either creating a line of five stones or securing five pairs of your opponent's stones. Adjust your strategy based on your opponent's moves to block their progress and advance your own.
